Tales of remakes in the making, promises producer

Remakes for older Tales of games are in the making, series producer Hideo Baba has said.

He said the titles will give new players to the series a chance to revisit titles that may not be possible to play in this day and age.

Namco Bandai Europe have released a batch of ten new screenshots of Tales of the Abyss for Nintendo 3DS, the enhanced 3D remake of the popular PS2 Tales of title.

The screenshots show off some of the game world and scenes from within some of the game's battles.

Those looking to get their localized Tales fix might not be waiting too much longer.

Namco Bandai has just announced a set of dates for the upcoming Nintendo 3DS version of Tales of the Abyss.

Europeans will get their hands on the game first, as the release for them is set at November 25, 2011. North Americans will, for some reason, be waiting over 2 months for a date of February 14, 2012.

An exact reason for the time delay between regions was not specified, but we'll ping Namco B...

Tales of the Abyss 3D Media Vault Update

We put our hands up - these screenshots are a few weeks old. We never got a chance to upload them when they were first released, so we're just now doing some cleaning up and uploading them to the Media Vault to keep ourselves properly up to date.

These are some of the first English-language shots of the enhanced 3DS version of Tales of the Abyss, the much-loved PS2 Tales title. It's set to launch in the West in November 2011, and launched in Japan at the end of June.
